Great game

This game is: - Core system taken from Heroes 3 - City/resource managment somehow similar to Age of Wonders 2 - Gameplay really reminds me of King's Bounty especially Campaign (I really like this) - Magic system feels like taken from board/card games. It creates really interesting hero development, even your squad of units will be build around your choice there. If you like genre of games I mentioned above, you will like this one too. The downside, in my opinion campaign should be longer (4 campaign 4 missions each, on the other hand base HoMM3 had 3x6, so somehow similar)

The Nations Gold Edition

Disappointing changes

In original game you had a great control over your village. In this title you HAVE to advance your viallage to level 2 and 3, becuase there is building cap (20 for lvl1 and 45 for lvl2). It's annoying, you have to demolish your houses and build larger ones in place. But the worst thing is breeding. Childres just pop like mad, you have no jobs to give them. One day I have like 20 new schoolboys, and the next one is even worse. Original game had this nice game pace of slowly growing village, this one is rapidly accelerating train that can't be slowed down.
