Not having any nostalgia for this game but being a lover of Skyrim, I decided to check it out. I did play Oblivion when it was current and enjoyed it quite a but never did experience Morrowind, it's predecessor, until now...... .......and it's barely playable to me. Not that it is so broken as to be unusable but without any nostalgic love for the game, it's archaic systems and design choices leave me cold today. I modded it to at least look less dated (somewhat) but the core gameplay is tedium mixed with frustration and not something I am prepared to waste my time on. Not that I don't play old games at all as I find myself often playing old Amiga games, many RPGs like Dungeon Master, Eye of the Beholder etc but I can't invest my time in Morrowind as it is more of a chore than pleasure.

Just be aware that if you have both Steam and GOG versions installed and you start the GOG version with the Launcher, it will start the Steam version ! To avoid this madness, just start GOG version from fallout4.exe bypassing the launcher.
