Solitaire Quest: Garden Story

Pretty good deal

200 levels and an endless mode is all you need to kill your time in this fun twist of the solitaire trope. Looks good and plays well. Great deal on a discount.

Slipstream

Arcade racer

Honest game, you get what you pay for. Fun and can run on anything. Recommended for fans of the genre

Darkest Dungeon®

A game for the ages

Hire & manage a roster of heroes, upgrade the town's buildings and explore the darkness of the underworld. One of the most Lovecraftian games out there. Dark, brutal and often unforgiving. But also satisfying, accomplishing and addicting. A true gem for the ages.

Womanizer

Dating roguelike

You have a set amount of time to meet & seduce the women, and also survive an unexpected story. You can get different endings, good and bad. There is a certain replayability. Easy on the text and the choices. Good art. No nudes. Still fun to be had.

System Shock® 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster

The GOAT is back

One of the best and most influencial games of all time got a remaster. The game is better than ever. Can't recommend this enough!

Frostpunk 2

Different but goof

RIch, fresh, interesting, different, satisfying.

Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition

(New Vegas) "Hold my beer"

The good quests are too far in between, there is a lot of uninspiring filler here. There are a few "cities" but no worthy "factions", no arena and not many interesting things to do as a "bad" person. There are fewer npc's than the previous games (Oblivion, Morrowind). The map is smaller. The main questline is, also, kind of trash. It's a good warm-up to New Vegas though. Thank god I played that game during the pandemic and I felt the fun that can be had using the same engine and assets in a different way. Also, the world design of Obsidian: far better in their game. Fallout 3 can keep you awake in a pinch, and prepare you for the ultimate comparison when you get to play Obsidian's game.

Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition

Obsidian 1 - Bethesda 0

Obsidian made this in 18 months, using assets and the engine from Fallout 3. Fallout 3 is pretty boring, meaning that interesting quests are too far in between and the world is just not up to par with what it could really be. BUT, New Vegas is way, way better. In fact, it is what I like to think as the actual Fallout 3 experience. Buy this game. Play this game. You won't regret it, not even in 2022.

SOMA

High stakes emotional rollercoaster

If you know Amnesia, you know how this plays. However, this massively underestimated title has one of the best stories I have ever seen in my decades of gaming. Mark my words, to those who will play through to the end, this game will stay with you forever. Not for the faint of heart or emotional people. Also, warning: If you are in a dark place in your life right now, you might want to skip this for a while. Otherwise, can't recommend it enough

Being a DIK - Season 1

Best game in the VN genre

This game is miles and leagues ahead of anything the competition has to offer. More than eight thousands images, plus hundreds of scenes. Lots of hours to sink in. The story will hook you in and the visuals will do the rest. So many choices. Branching paths. Character alignment. You will try to unlock all the extra content and probably replay the whole season a few times, just to see what happens. I'm not spoiling anything. You should experience this for yourselves. For what it is offering, especially compared to any other VN in existence, it is cheap. Get a deal on both Seasons 1+2 if you can.
