SteamWorld Build: Mechanized

...ehhh.....

I have thoroughly enjoyed SW:B, clocked all the maps in around 60-65 hours, I bought the DLC hoping to scratch that itch a bit more. Let me say, the only good reason you would want to buy Mechanized at anything less than 90-95% off is to support the developer, or you're stupid rich and don't care about money. This should be a $1.99 DLC and really has no business being priced at $14.95(au). It add's no new maps (only reworked mine levels), no new challenge to overworld campaign progression. ONE single new enemy (which youll see only about 5 times a playthrough). Has several bugs which have still not (as of 5-jul-25) been patched despite the time it has been out. The Mech mechanic...I see what they wanted to do, but for whatever reason the excecution missed the mark with me, The Mech mechanic really just serves as a device to slow you down in the 3 mine levels. Having to use the mechs to move blocks to access new areas instead of just mining it all out. Or use the handles to open some doors. The containers you move when paired up 3 or more will give you cash and resources, except theres so many resources it kind of become a non-event, I never had less than my max storage due to constanty clearing containers. removes what little challenge this game posed( I know its a casual/family friendly and meant to be easy - but a harder game mode COULD be available). The "Gem Blocks" mechanic (moveable blocks with AoE ++ to Dmg, Resource and Healing) could have played a more significant role, aside from using them to unlock the secret areas/Gem Bedrock, I didnt even need them, whats the point in a mechanic you don't really even require to finish? The Laser puzzle was good albeit short, it was just 2 lasers for the whole playthrough, and it took me a good 20min to find the 2 moveable laser deflectors as they're not easily visually identifiable from the NON-moveable ones. Could have done so much more with it. Verdict: Shouldn't have paid $10 for it. Wait for 90% off.

Dungeon Keeper™ 2

Awesome!

I was a huge DK fan, DK2 just got better. I don't know who these people are saying this doesn't run on windows 7, im running an i7, 16gb ram, radeon R9290X 4gb running windows 7 and i've played 20+ hours of DK2 and is never crashed. not once. to all these people having problems i would say, UPDATE YOUR DRIVERS. Run a good system clean (CCleaner and/or malwarebytes) and close other programs whilst playing (antivirus, torrents, other progs etc)
