i quickly blazed through world 1 after buying so i can put my thoughts out there. the only complaint i have is the same as many others. you can not bind keys to fit your play style. you just have to use the exact same lay out as the game did all those years ago. not bad to use, but aggravating when trying to do myltiple movements at the same time. also id suggest making the extras an optional download personally. it seems to really bloat the game's file size.
honestly there isnt much to this game, but it honestly doesnt need much more either. this game shines through with its simplicity.
played this game on ps4 and enjoyed it so much, but the console port is absolutely terrible. when i seen it available on gog i thought id have to be stupid not to give it a shot.
i went into this game completely blind and was utterly shocked as soon as i seen the menu. there are 3 game modes that are completely different, so no matter what you'll likely find something to enjoy. then while playing i noticed landmarks shown in youtube videos. come to find out the crew went to the exclusion zone and 3d scanned everything. then i was scared it was going to be strictly horror. there is minimal horror elements, but the other attributes would outshine the horror elements, even if it had more.
I bought this game thinking it would play like any other game, being GOG. i was wrong. i have yet to be able to launch the game since buying it, and none of the mods ive downloaded, or settings ive changed, has fixed that yet. The game itself is great and fun. i played it on xbox 360 for years, but i wanted to get my entire bethesda collection on pc.
i was super board, while looking for a free game and boom! found this one. started playing and at first was just like "i'll quickly just find all the cats" then i started groovin to the sound track and just decided to keep going. easy 100% for trophy hunters too. i did it all in very little time, including the time trial and birds.
tried playing playing as i didnt expect it to be launched via GOG launcher, which is really cool, but any way it seems to be full of common bugs that need other mods to fix, i respect the work and craftsman ship, but to hit a wall 10 minutes into gameplay kind of seems like an over sight (crash after tram ride). i will be revisiting if they update the mod in any way where i wont have to install nexus again and deal with that entire mess again. i'll also be sure to update my review to make it fair.
