Sure, some of my love for this game is nostalgia from playing when it was released, finding multiplayer games on MSN Gaming Zone, and downloading all sorts of fun community-made mods, levels, etc. from The Massassi Temple. However, the game is still incredibly fun to play through and I have had no issues with this version of the game on my modern PC (although terrible specs for today's gaming computers). It still runs great with mods and The Massassi Temple is still around to download all of the classics. I sometimes just run through old multiplayer levels for the nostalgia...
Stands the test of time. Sure, the graphics are dated and the style is not as common these days, but the game itself is engaging and incredibly fun. Definitely worth playing through at least once, but you will want to play through several times to try the different choices through the story, make sure you get all the side quests, and try different types of characters.
One of the best games when it was released, and it holds up today! Plenty of mods to bring it into a "modern" era, but the regular game without mods is still incredible. The scenery, the adventure, the quests, the customization available with each character, the list goes on! It is just a great game, even years later.
