it's an awesome game with the fallout type combat and dialogue system with races from the D&D series. From what i can tell from the ruins of the previous empire, it's maybe 1000 years after fallout 2. but just a funny guess. ;) :D But a fun game. As advice, i'd say, invest in the tech skill healing salve in the beginning unless you're relying on magic. As the combat can get kinda brutal unless you choose an ugly or crazy character on purpose.
So happy GOG created a working copy of this game. Def one of my favourite strategy games, a lot of philosophy in it too.
Tip for maximum levelling and enjoyment . go everywhere but your destination before you reach there. It's a lot of fun if you have the time, and play games for the story.
I'll add more later, but this is def one of my favourite games of all time.
The minimum requirements are incorrect so i can't play the game, but if you have 1GB or more RAM it looks cool, just never got to play it.
I like the fallout style RPG so finding this one was cool. The combat system is more real-time like one of the combat modes in Arcanum. Focus on combat skills first . then focus on the soft skills, otherwise you get killed too much .
It worked for like 5 minutes then crashed during the intro movie after clicking "new game" now i can't even get to the start menu. From what i've read "after" buying the game for $3, people have been having the same type of issues for over a year and GOG hasn't come out with a fix . not impressed .
