The single player campaign contains an unskippable, lengthy tutorial which teaches you how to move and shoot. Each episode takes about 4 minutes and you have to go through it. For someone who knows how to play, this is an unnecessary time waster. Entire game seems overly complicated, I did not enjoyed it and uninstalled it. Got this game for free from GOG.
This game is already free and open source, as someone already mentioned in one if the review 14 years ago. Code can be found here: https://github.com/opentyrian/opentyrian You can also find binaries there and play updated version of the game. That being said, this game is super playable and fun. I already played long hours and I am progressing through campaign. Very nice game.
Just below the game description you can read: "DRM FREE. No activation or online connection required to play." Well, that's a lie, this game comes with End User License Agreement, which you have to accept to play, this agreement forces you to accept spying and tracking on you using third party tools. Say no to that, and DO NOT buy this game.
Factorio is an absolute gem for those who revel in the satisfaction of meticulous planning and resource management. The game seamlessly blends creativity, strategy, and automation to deliver an immensely rewarding experience. What sets Factorio apart is its ability to captivate even those who typically shy away from multiplayer dynamics. Although I personally steer clear of multiplayer engagements, Factorio's single-player mode is an unparalleled delight. The intricate process of building and maintaining factories, from the rudimentary beginnings of chopping trees and mining ores to the grandeur of colossal solar fields and intricate logistics, keeps the gameplay engaging and dynamic. The progression from manual labour to a sophisticated industrial empire is both challenging and incredibly satisfying. I just bought this game, already clocked over 100 hours, and have hundreds more ahead of me. One of my best purchases in recent years!
I never finished this game when I was a kid, I can't finish it now. It's impossible to finish this game with 3 lives limit, unless you are an Arcade master. Some variations have unofficial cheat code for more lives, but you have to search entire Internet for it. But still, you will never be able to finish every version of the game included in this package with only 3 lives limit. Cannot finish the game, so I refunded.
