It's so wild to me this game is nearly 10 years old now. To this day it's one of the best-optimized, tightly designed video games I've ever played. The narrative pacing, combat mechanics, level-design, and lore are the best in the entire Doom franchise IMO. If you haven't played this game yet in 2025, well, there's no time like the present to experience this masterpiece. If it's been awhile, well, it's time for a replay.
