SYMMETRY

"Try Harder"

I greatly enjoyed the simplicity of time management in this game. The overall tasks are straight forward, but keeping all your crew alive to survive is a challenge. I have yet to beat "Try Harder", but I play it just to test myself

Chasm

One of my new Favorites

I got this on steam a year ago. I have never played Metrovania style games (besides actually Metroid and Castlevania), so it was new to me and I quickly added it to my favorites. I get that the Metrovania game style has flooded the market and there was a lot of criticism on this game, but I really enjoyed it.

Battlezone: Combat Commander

Not unless your already are a fan...

I can not recommend this game unless you are already a fan. It felt like it was made by a 12 year old. The controls and aiming is messed up/janky, the user interface looks like it is a Unity Base UI, and the mission objectives are so unclear, I searched for a good hour on the first few missions. Graphically it does not look to bad, but the first few mission maps are so bland, I had a hard time finishing them bc they were so boring. If you really want to try this, wait for a 90% sale.

The Long Journey Home

Great Gravity Simulator...plus humor!

I got this game out of curiosity, and found it to be a lot of fun. I mostly prefer the space and planet exploration, but without the alien involvement you will never get home. A lot of strategy and luck in order to win, but it is the journey that makes this game great.

Dragonview

A favorite...All around fun

When I saw this on GOG, my mouth dropped. I had not played this game in nearly 30 years. I loved the story, the world, the music, the combat. It may not rate as high in your book, but it does mine.

Thea 2: The Shattering

Hypnotizing...and overwhelming

I'm a new fan to this series. I've never played the first one, but tried this and loved it. The storytelling, adventures, events, all fueling my passion. I look forward to a third installment if the devs make one. You should too.

Pine

I don't recommend this game.

I bought it full price when it first came out. I was bored to death and the trading system was not what the original trailers advertised. I expected an advanced trading system where I could profit! Nope! no profeits, mostly loses as you lose neturality with other races just by trading to get those resources the race you want to befriend desires. Uhhh! So must waste of time trying to improve my relationships jsut to see them drop to enemies with once friendly action to another race.

My Favorite Star Trek game

I hope you like it too. I loved the graphics, the gameplay, the 3D atmosphere, as well as al 8 species they added. Glad to see it on GOG!

Townsmen - A Kingdom Rebuilt

Tons of fun...

I own the Tablet version, but thought I'd get the desktop too. This game has come a long way from simple town building to economic and survival aspects that greatly enhanced it for me.

Ghost of a Tale

Camera issues but very fun.

I've been having lots of trouble with the glitchy camera system. When going into small areas the camera will zoom in and bounce around often getting stuck in walls. But besides those rare moments the play control is great. Fun story and a beautiful castle to explore.
