Living With Sister: Monochrome Fantasy

Rather Dissapointing

Over time i made many reviews mostly on steam, and generally its from my current feelings about the game and after many 'non informative' reviews i have made long paragraphs just describing my feelings on and around the game. I say this because i bought this game and 2 in the morning with frankly very little expectations because i know what it was already, but ill admit it also looked like a very unique game even compared to usual ones. Sadly that is not the case, Monochrome Fantasy while it has a very nice artstyle is too simple and too shallow. Bassically you live in a family of you and your sister and go day to day with a minor narrative about you being a guild. You have a few stats and few basic activities that give you more options of interacting with your sister, developing your stats to do said activities much easier. My main issue is that very quickly i found out that there is not a lot. That and the game is kind of poor at showing you, what it has. Once it clicked to me how it functions and how to do things, it was very simple to get to do something i want. Most of content is around your sister, which is a shame since as you work in a guild you have guild mates and honestly, they had much more interesting desings and dialogue and the game just does not seem to offer anything towards them, or if it does, it tries its hardest not to let you interact with them. Even though you have lot of interactions with your sister, its a lot of options with very little once you try exploring them. The only really strong aspect as i said is the artstyle, it is very unique and ill give all credit it is fantastic to look at, but beyond looking pretty its not that great. As a visual novel the plot, well its not there that much, and as a 'funny wink wink wachu doing down there' game its, also quite frankly not that there, its really shallow. Rather strangely dissapoiting, it has actual decent parts but yet it goes nowhere with it.
