This game is an awesome homage to the 80s robocop, which was my favourite. I love robocop 1 and 2, this game really captures the feeling of being the robocop. You really feel like almost unkillable being robocop and the auto 9 is awesome. Side quests are quite funny too ranging from serious to silly. Of course we listened to the radio and tvs there will be lots of satire too. The only problem with this game is the resource requirement. To be honest the graphics isn't all that great, they could have tuned this game for lower spec and it'll still be fun. Had to tweak the settings manually to get it run okay with a 1060 (yes it's old...but it does run cyberpunk 2077 quite well). All in all, if you are a RoboCop fans, this is the closest we get from a sequel from the first 2 movies, unlike the 3rd and the reboot.
One of my favourite game to date. Yes the earlier version wasn't very good and buggy, but as a cyberpunk genre fan, this game is trully a masterpiece. WIth the addition of Phantom Liberty, this is a perfect game.
I'm a fan of cyberpunk theme, love movies like Blade Runners, Ready Player One, Alita and all. I think this game captures the essence of the genre with its huge maps. There were indeed oddities when it was released (I played v 1.2 or so) but since the last update, everything is 99% smooth. There were occational bugs with clipping but not so much that it takes you away from immersion. They managed to optimize the game quite well too. It runs smoothly on 1080 with my older GTX1060. Would have loved if there was a 3rd person perspective, but hey the current mode works too, just that I can't see my character's gear all the time. Just walking and driving around night city is enjoyable by itself, so many little details to notice. Also, I think this is the only game where I actually listen to the OSTs outside the game. So many awesome songs in this game. I think currently there is no other game like this in the market at the moment. So if you are a fan of cyberpunk genre, really this is the best game to get at the moment. The last game similar to this that I can think of was Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and of couse the graphics quality is nowhere near cyberpunk 2077.
What can I say, this is the game that got me into loving computers! Back then I played this game with my 486DX2 machine with the glory of Sound Blaster. I think it didn't have any voiceover back then and it was quite difficult to get the sound working correctly. Unfortunately I did not get to finish the game before, thanks to GOG I'll be able to do this now :D. And best yet I'm sure like any other GOG games, this will work out of the box. I think this is one of the best games in the 90s regarding sound effects, music and graphics to some extend.
This is one of the most entertaining titles I ever played back then. I remembered when I had it long time ago. It came together in a package with Sound Blaster 16. Naturaly the game had very good music and sfx of its time. Great to see this game here. I'm sure GOG has made the installation so much easier. It was really difficult to get it going back then, the game kept crashing without memory optimizer on my 486 DX2 machine. Good job GOG!
