As someone who grew up with Goosebumps I do like the game, I wish they had the voice that would say Reader Beware You're In For a Scare, but other then that it's ok, only people who like adventure games or Goosebumps will get something out of it though and even then get it on sale
Very solid game along the lines of Ghosts N Goblins and Rastan, it's easier and less interesting then those 2 but it's still a pretty affordable good time that is also DRM free currently unlike those 2, so feel free to pick it up for a fair price in my opinion at least
I don't really have anything negative to say about this game, the closest to issues I have with this game is I wish you didn't have to open up the overworld map everytime you opened it up and I wish you had the option to play only the original 1980 version, other then that for 5 dollars this is one good deal
I like this collection a whole lot, the only kind of nitpicky things I have with this collection is they didn't add Traxx, it's a shame. I prefer it over something like Ratman for example and maybe included some of the less accessible newer games Jeff released, and they used the C64 version of Gridrunner instead of the in my opinion superior version of the Vic 20 for Gridrunner Remastered, but the C64 version is still good, overall for 30 USD this collection is priced fair
This port is amazing, the only 2 flaws I have an issue with is I wish it had complete autofire where you don't even have to hold down the fire button, but the autofire is still really good The only other flaw kind of is you can't play completely powered up from the get go, they could have disabled the achievement while that option was selected, but again it's a minor flaw Overall it's a port very well worth the 8 dollars they are asking for and I give it a very easy recommendation
This is such a good port of a classic Toaplan style game, Batsugun is my personal favorite Toaplan game behind Snow Bros. which would be nice to also get a port onto GOG by the way. It doesn't have a lot of Input Lap, has training modes, and even gives you another slightly easier version as well. I would say the audio quality could be improved on but considering this is only 8 dollars and with the amount of content we are already getting with this port, it's really a nitpick honestly and the fact it's DRM free makes this an easy recommendation. Overall, at 8 dollars this is a no brainer, and hopefully in the future this may inspire M2 to bring over their Shottriggers series of games including some of Caves and my personal favorite Shmup Battle Garegga at some point in the future
This is an above average title, it's about on par with Super Mario 64 and Rayman 2 in terms of quality 3D Platformers The Pros +The characters and story are truly top notch due to Tim Schafer's experience with Point and Click Adventure titles + Very creative worlds that are mostly a joy going through + Great Platforming for a 3D title + Good music +/- Too many collectibles for my taste personally The Cons - Some of the levels can be a chore to get through (looking at Waterloo World in particular) -The bosses overall are kind of lame if you ask me, I'd prefer they don't exist personally - Gameplay isn't the best Overall I would still recommend this title especially if on a sale because it's definitely worth playing despite some of the issues that do drag the title down a little bit
