While the dlc is shorter than the main game, About 1-2 hours long. it's a nice little supplement for the story and lore of the main game. Whistleblower takes place a bit before, during and after the original game. You play as a sofware programer, working for murkoff. Having enough of the horrors you have seen in the asylum. you decide to leak out information to the outside world. To let the world know what's happening. But you are ultimately caught before sending the info out. but this also starts the tragedy of the asylum where all hell breaks loose. And you have front row seats of watching it all happen. Definetly a must play, I loved the original game. As it supplements the story of the original game very well.

Outlast is a mix of grotesque, psychological and atmospheric horror. All into one. And it pulls it off extremely well. It really sets you in a very nervous mood as soon as you start playing. As you are desperately hidding and sneaking your way towards your objectives. All while trying to avoid the many psychotic patients of the asylum. Especially the Variants, You do NOT want to get caught by them. What sets outlast apart from other horror games. Is that there are no weapons or means to defend yourself. It's run or hide. fighting is not an option. Because basically you stand no chance in a straight brawl. You will simply die. While the game is short, about 3-4 hours long on a first playthrough. it's extremely good. You will be coming back for multiple playthroughs. While trying to collect all of the hidden footage and documents. The Whistleblower DLC, really amps up the shock and horror. As it introduces one of the most disturbing characters in Horro game history Eddie Gluskin. While the DLC is 2 hours long on a first playthrough. It's cheap and very well worth it. Outlast is a game you really should play if you are a fan of horror. It's different from the rest, it's very memorable. An excellent choice for spooky horror game nights! Definetly a must play.

Dead Space 1 (2008) Is one of those classic games, that you just can't get enough off. Despite it being over 15 years old. The the tense atmosphere, horro and gore still holds up. To this day. Unfortunately, This game was originally made for consoles. And the pc port, just wasn't that good. So it's stuck in 30 fps. But that can be fixed, if you go to the the ingame options and turn V-Sync off. But also go to Nvidia control panel and turn Vsync on there and also lock the game to 60 fps. Do this and you're good to go!
