Really great so far. Opening feels more linear, but it has opened up into a more explorable overworld like Hollow Knight. Enemies on the whole demand paying more attention and you can easily be killed for attacking mindlessly, so I would say it is definitely geared to a player already familiar with Hollow Knight, and I would recommend newcomers play that game first, as it's a bit less mechanically complex.
