My father bought my first PC second hand from a friend. The machine came with this game installed on it and I am playing it ever since. My first SM turned-based strategy game ever; as up until then I had experience only with real-time strategy games, it took me a while (like 20 new games over a period of a couple of months) to find out how that strange white and brown blop (the caravel, never recognized it as a ship until I managed to move it) move. But I never quit trying and once it occured to me that the keyboard might be somehow involved in putting commands in a computer, it was a love of (twenty-ish)first sight!
What can I say to all HoMaM III fans? – I like the forth better. There are 5 – 6 games from my youth I still play form time to time and HoMaM IV is one of them, one of my love-long fun providers.
