Kathy Rain: Director’s Cut

Great twin peaks infused point n click

Really good point n click adventure. Took me a bit more than 5 hours. Apart from 2-3 puzzles which made me scratch my head a bit, most of the puzzles were on the easy side, but good enough that I felt satisfied after solving them. The real hook for me was the story, which felt like twin peaks from the get go (quirky characters, mystery in a small rural town...). Strongly advise to anyone who likes point n click ( or twin peaks ). The owls are not what they seem (or as Kathy would say " I do not think they are other than they seem.")

Gibbous - A Cthulhu Adventure

Nice Point n click with a good story

I'm a huge fan of Lucas Arts style point n click, and this game was really nice and a good throwback. I was not expecting too much of the story (haven't read any HP Lovecraft, now I want to) but was surprised by how well it felt in the end (despite some reviews I read beforehand, I thought the ending was good). A nice dose of humor and wit, but enough seriousness to keep you hooked. The gameplay (and graphics) feel familiar enough (it feels like full throttle or curse of monkey island) with some nice quality of life improvements (liked the space bar to reveal interactable objects, so no more hidden object that you missed because it was not well lit enough in a corner of the screen). The puzzles are not too hard, but not too easy (personnally would have liked more difficulty but it still felt nice). I strongly recommend to point n click lovers :)
