I bought Divinity: Original Sin over 5 years ago. I have tried to play it many, many times, and have never survived the Tutorial. I didn't even know I was IN a tutorial until today, when I tried to click on an alternative exit and got told that I should complete the tutorial first! Having spent literally hours smashing chests open and destroying my weapons, I finally decided that I really wanted a rogue with lock picking. So, I changed one of the starting characters to a rogue, then changed one of his skills to lock-picking. Then it wouldn't let me save the character because I couldn't choose lock-picking, only I DID choose lock-picking, but I didn't have the abilities to choose it. It wouldn't tell me WHAT abilities I needed, what the minimum score required was, or anything else which might have helped me to actually obtain lock-picking. What a useless tutorial, and a pathetic example of how to create an enjoyable game.
