I've waited for this game for a while, and I must say, things got better. The writing is MUCH better than the previous two games, not least of all from the point of consistency; the characters, though new, are incredibly likeable from the beginning, and there's a lot of nostalgia callbacks. The game also looks gorgeous, and with Japanese audio available, I have everything I could wish for. Even better, unlike its predecessors, running this on Wine is a breeze - load up DXVK, ensure you have faudio (or use a Wine release with it built-in), and the game _just works_. In short, 100% worth it!
