Other than impressive graphics and a futuristic setting (for those who prefer it), Cyberpunk 2077 has little to offer compared to GTA V from 2013. Even with Patch 2.2, the game is still plagued by bugs. Animations are glitchy—characters will sit mid-air and awkwardly slide into chairs instead of walking and sitting naturally. NPCs feel completely lifeless, lacking any meaningful interaction or immersion. Enemy AI is on par with Deus Ex from 2007, or perhaps even worse. Boss fights, which should be standout moments, are instead frustrating due to glitches. To avoid spoilers, one of the early bosses glitched and wouldn’t move throughout the entire fight, while another boss had their health bar stuck at 1%, making them impossible to kill.
