Creeper World 4

Fail

What a letdown. These games have been going steadily downhill since the first creeper world, and with this one continuing that trend. This is not the back to the roots (CW1) as it has been described, this more like a continuation of all the bad things from CW3. Full of new gimmicks that (subjectvely) aren't really fun, and feel detached .. actually the whole gameplay feels detached. In Creeper World you spend 90% of your time micromanaging units and expanding, and in this game that part is so tedious and frustrating that at this point I don't even feel like finishing the story line. The camera controls suck, selecting units suck, even air units suck now. The energy balancing gameplay from previous games gone and replaced by the 3 gimmick alternative resources. And the whole maps in space thing that were also in CW3 never made sense. All the elements are there, but the fun is gone. Sorry dude, you made one of my favorite games of all times (CW1), but that goodwill only goes so far. This one is just plain bad.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition

Great

Immersive. Great story. Hour and hours of gameplay, hundreds. Combat gets boring fast. I really dislike dodge and roll combat in general, but maybe you are ok with it. Game of the Year edition (which is all expansions) is very high value for money if you get it on Sale. I was pleasently surpriced. I knew I would hate the combat, but the rest of the game really pulled me in.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

Ok ish

Kind of short. Not as good as Deus Ex - Human Revolution. Spend lot of tme looking at loading screens. Mechanically ok. Visually ok, except what the frack did you do to Jensen ? his voice and facial expression is so dead compared to Human Revolution. Lacks real choice. Also not as many different approaches to problem solving as previous Deus Ex titles. Hardly ever used any weapon, even tranquilizer. Augs and aug system were MEH, energy system is poorly designed. .. and yet, it was ok ish and I did have fun while it lasted, but one playthrough was enough. Get it on sale or you will feel cheated. If you haven't played Human Revolution get that instead/also.
