Very good game, brought back the memories! Generally the idea of the game is to solve puzzles to open various doors in the house until you have opened them all. There is a story-line throughout the game however it isn't majorly in-depth like Phantasmagoria or Gabriel Knight so the puzzles are the main aspect of the game. Although the graphics are slightly outdated now, for the time they were cutting-edge, and to be honest when re-playing this game I was amazed at how good they actually were. To round up, if you enjoy solving puzzles and walking around a creepy house this is the game for you! If you prefer a more in depth story-line based game I would maybe go for Phantasmagoria or Gabriel Knight 2 instead.
Brilliant game. Very enjoyable story-line which can be very creepy on occasions. This game has the perfect balance as the puzzles are difficult enough to make it challenging and so that you don't complete the game in the space of a weekend but not hard enough so that you are stuck at a certain point for months! If you like this game you will probably like Phantasmagoria as it is very similar in genre/graphics/game-play.
Classic game. Brilliant story-line, very creepy and will keep you coming back for more! The only negative side to this game is that it is very easy, I managed to complete it in the space of a weekend. Also there is a hint-master on it so it can potentially make the game even easier if you decide to use it. Don't let this put you off though because despite this it is a very enjoyable game and very re-playable.
Generally this isn't a bad game. The puzzles are challenging and the story-line keeps you coming back for more however it is NOWHERE near as good or creepy as the original in my opinion. Also is has absolutely no connection to the original game so I really don't know why this is called Phantasmagoria 2 and not just A Puzzle of Flesh. My recommendation would be to buy the original however if you do decide to buy this game keep in mind that it isn't a follow on from the first game.
