TLDR; In 2025 - 2077 is worth the money. 4* just because it's genre. Is that fair? meh... I waited to buy 2077 due to the launch issues. 2025 and i'm playing for my first time. The game IS (finally) what was promised before release. The city is alive (decent performance), driving is kinda GTA kinda fun or just play bumper cars! Random gangs and bounties for side missions. The characters are cool, believable and with the exception of plastic chicks srtung out and the burger eating dude everyone's kinda hot, it's like Scandinavia. I havn't run into a single voice actor who sucks and i think almost everyone is fully voice acted. Even random people on the street tell ya to go scratch. Am i rambling, hell yes i am. Thats what i do, and ya wanted a review right? I hate buying games these days because its SUCH a hit or miss (this game foir instance, 4 years to fix??) and it aint cheap. I "test" games i want and if the're worth it i buy em. If you have a machine that can run it, Highly Reccomended. I'd pay $50 for this and not feel slighted. And then of course mods. The community has done made a crazy amount of cool things and unlike a lot of other mod friendly games this is still running solid with 200 mods and it genuinely is easy to do. Thanks again unpaid modders for being slaves to your mod. <3 You know like 2 for graphics 5 for gameplay and 100 to make the women in the game look hot. Don't like you know what im sayin. You modders need a less 'charged' hobby. No i'm kidding don't you dare stop. Alright choom, I have spoken.

Theres always that one game you go back to when there's nothing new out. For me that has Always beeen the X-Com series, throw a few mods on and its a "different" game. This is that game. The replayablility and ability to alter the game mechanics and visuals. *****

Im as old as dirt and have played through every dungeons & dragons game dating back to the gold box series and Every iteration of the BG & IWD series since they were on disk. I waited until the game was Actually released, not the paid beta. I have spent damn near 400 hours playing, modding etc. While more modern in apperance and playstyle it absoluitely earned its place along side the rest of the D&D games.
