100% strategy, you can skip every single line of dialogue & not miss anything, not like you'll miss much since 70% of interactions read like poorly translated puns. The mechanics are solid, but after a couple of hours the lack of enemy variation makes going through them feel like a chore, which you'll have to do if you want good equipment since quest rewards suck. Really liked the artstyle, very solid & reminded me of 70s soviet space stuff, specially the cute snake aliens, like the giant worm & the wizard cangaroo thing. The music was cool at first, but after 10 hours of the same beats I just muted it. tl;dr A solid game, that overstays it's welcome due to lack of enemy variety, music, un interesting plot & too much grind.
First time playing this game, so no nostalgia. Honestly I can see wht ppl might not like it, you can get lost if you ain't paying attention & have to actually figure stuff out on your own. But I had a blast, even did multiple runs, whole thing felt like an adventure that allows the player to experiment all they want. The setting, the characters, the enemies everything felt crafted with care. There were some balance issues with the weapons, like how all energy guns are basically worthless or the very high requierements for the mid exotic weapons. Some skills are also & perks are also useless. Like the repair skill or that perk that gives you +2 only when hacking computers lmao. The PSI powers were very fun to use too. But, yeah, only reason this isn't a 5/5 is because of the many noob traps it has regarding skills, perks & weapons.
