Six Ages 2: Lights Going Out

Flavor Forward Roleplaying

Six Ages requires stepping into a different world. At first, I tried to play these games with my own set of values. I refrained from raiding friends; I punished all who preyed upon the weak. The game allowed me these options, but I lost the trust of my clan. In many ways, I have had to learn the game as a child. I have learned right and wrong from how the clan responds. I see learn their moral values from experience. Raiding 30 cattle back and forth with friends is no great sin. The raids provide opportunities for warriors to grow. This is a text heavy game. Almost an interactive fiction game. The main difference comes in the variety of choices. While some events come to you, like an interactive fiction, and you must choose a response, most the game leaves you open to choose what activities pass the time. You have a thousand choices. Maybe one of them will let you survive.
