I read about Chimera Squad previously when I considered buying it on Steam. Many reviews were negative and flat out called the game a garbage spin-off. The Atmosphere in the game is great, the sound-track helps a lot too. The story is well written and actually kinda addicting. I agree with the others, only purchase this game on sale. The pricetag is the only reason I wouldn't give this five stars. Apart from that, I feel like Turok is one of the only older games which you can play at any time and still love it like it just released. buymeacoffee.com/notmiketyson
This isn't a game I would usually play, however I picked it up on sale and gave it a try. I was stunned by how stunning the game is and the atmosphere it provides. You feel like you're in every room you enter.
You won't play this game for its story, but the gameplay and movement is top tier. It also looks great.
Even with the buggy release that occured, coming back to this a year later and experiencing the game properly for the first time is unreal. The game will leave you stunned and wanting to keep coming back. + The endings are written beautifully.
