This game was a portent of the "dumbed down" games of the future. Horrible, absolutely horrible play. Minimized controls and simplicity - so simple that it is BORING.
I love this game. It is complicated, but worth learning, I started playing this game when it came out; I've even used this game with fellow businessmen to demonstrate concepts of strategy. No other game, in my opinion, gives the best opportunity to practice strategy and operations. Warning: If you are looking for tactics, and instant gratification, this is not your game. This one times patience and skill.
