ATOM RPG: Trudograd

Horrible design

At one point in the game, a criminal named Big Bao demanded protection money, which I did not pay. After that, he tried to have me killed, and I was ambushed by five people. Following this, I killed Big Bao and his boss. After that, the game continued as if nothing had happened. I also saved the game, overwriting my previous save. Shortly after, I had to choose which faction to join from two options. I decided to join the police. They gave me three missions, which I completed, and at this point, I excluded myself from the possibility of joining the other faction. What was less normal was that two criminals from Big Bao's crew then showed up at the police station, and at that point, the entire police force turned against me. So, to summarize, someone wanted to kill me, I killed them, and after a few hours of gameplay, the game practically came to an end.

ATOM RPG: Post-apocalyptic indie game

Garbage...

I dedicated five hours to achieving victory in the very first battle of the game. Following the save, there is a cutscene, succeeded by an unskippable waiting period and a dialogue sequence. Each time I reloaded or attempted again, I had to endure this process. Ultimately, I succeeded in winning, but that experience was more than sufficient for me in terms of the game...

The Technomancer

Can't start it on Windows 11

I don't know how good this game is. The reviews didn't convince me that I want to spend hours trying to start the game somehow. So I'm just writing a warning that it may not run on newer machines; it doesn't run for me, at least.

Good game with flaws

The game is good, but it has a few flaws. The most significant of these flaws is that the enemies level up alongside us, becoming stronger, and to keep up with them, we need to continually upgrade our equipment. However, the equipment (except for a few named items) comes with random properties, so there’s no guarantee that we can keep up with the enemies in the long run. Farming is not a solution because it levels us up, which further strengthens the enemies, and there's no guarantee that equipment will drop. Exploiting (money duplication, restocking shops) seems to be a good solution, but at this point, it may no longer be enjoyable to continue playing the game.
