Cyberpunk 2077

no complaints

I am 50 hours in now, and other than a few graphics glitches that were solved by updating my drivers, and one door that wouldn't open in a mission, I have not experienced any of the "gamebreaking" bugs that so many people are screeching about. It grinds on the maximum resolution, but wind it down a couple of notches to ultra and it buzzes along fine for me, my pc is decent but not cutting edge, so I would expect that. I will say though that the main storyline is far too short, but there is plenty more to do and I can see many replays anyway, to try and make things play out differently. Brilliant game, love it.

Sid Meier's Colonization

Classic

Great old game, it stands the test of time and still comes out fresh. Best of all, the game files are all plain txt. Open them in windows notepad, and within minutes you are discovering lost titties, telling the King where to stuff his taxes, and other nations are demanding you withdraw your privates immediately. Hours of puerile fun.

Lords of the Fallen Game of the Year Edition 2014

Clunky and no fun at all

I have never played Dark Souls, and decided to give this game a chance on its own merit. On the plus side, the graphics are nice. That is the only nice thing I have to say about it. I found it very clumsy and hard to play. Everything that has been said about the combat is true, and in general movement is the same, it is slow and clunky and just not fun. This coupled with the inability to free save, wooden voice acting, and unclear controls make this game a definite miss for me. I gave it half an hour, got nowhere and quit in frustration. For the money, I would have done better if I had gone to the pub, had a pint, and come home again.

Indiana Jones® and the Last Crusade™

Not enjoyable

Having played many of these Lucas Arts games back in the day, I saw this one and jumped at it, expecting more of the same. I can honestly say this is the most annoying and frustrating game I have played in a long time. It is not anywhere near as much fun as Fate of Atlantis, the puzzles are obscure, the interface is terrible (when you mouse over an object, there is nothing to indicate interaction, each area has to be searched with a "What Is?" command to show what can and cannot be interacted with), it allows you to move on to another area without completing the essential part of the previous, meaning you have to backtrack and reload, then repeat the areas, the fighting is brief, unbalanced, and leaves your character with no health for the next fight even if you win, and the mazes are so confusing they make you want to scream. After about two weeks of doggedly trying to enjoy and play this game I have finally conceeded defeat and deleted it in a massive rage quit, which is totally unlike me. I hate hate HATE this game!
