I have not yet played the original system shock, the unintuitive controls always got in the way. With the enhanced edition this is no longer a problem!
Not only does this feel just like the original game but they've made the interface work better. A remake done VERY right.
Sadly created in the days before dynamic lighting engines and the like so these days the atmosphere could be better, it's still one of the most amazing games made by humanity. There are mods to improve the visuals and allow for higher resolutions so it's not such an eyesore but a few hours in and you'll forget the graphics and just be carried along by the horror and genius of it. Bioshock wanted to be the remake of this but wasn't quite as good. This is a piece of high grade gaming history
