Best modern diablo game + cartoony visuals are love it or hate it. I like it + typical hack and slash combat but really fast and flashy and fun + i usually hate too much loot in games. I like the loot here + pets. Not just a gimmick. You can send them to town to sell unwanted gear. Very useful + its kinda short for arpg but it ends before it gets repetitive + nice locations. Big step up from one dungeon original - story. Dont remember any of it lol - poor endgame content Overall 9/10 my favourite diablo-like game
Its kinda weird mix of eastern and western rpgs... + combat. Fun hack and slash mixed with shadow of the colossus style monster climbing + really challenging but fair + visually ok nothing special - story is just trash imo. Ending is actually the middle and it makes no sense at all - world is ok but not fun to explore at all. And basically there is no fast travel so it becomes a chore - will get really repetitive Overall 6/10 combat is really great, one of the best there is. Unfortunately everything else is mediocre or subpar
Great in every possible way but kinda suffers now because the sequel is even better + tactical turn based combat that encourages you to think in creative ways + story and characters are ok + writing and humour + high replayability. You can go through whole game with completely missing some amazing encounters and situations + looks nice + sound and soundtrack are good - progression and game mechanics are poorly explained which can result in you completely messing up your build and making your game impossibly difficult Overall 9/10 almost perfect..sequel is perfect however. Play both
+ very interesting time travel mechanic incorporated nicely with puzzles + nice art style + soundtrack is great especially the main theme (I LOVE IT) + short but just the right lenght before it gets repetitive - movement could have been a little more fluid - no replayability Overall 8/10 its fun and memorable
Inferior to 2013 reboot in almost every way + combat is really fun, even better than original in some ways + great soundtrack + visually solid, nothing special - incredibibly repetitive. Levels are big and random generated but basically you will play same 3 levels over and over again - too much loot. Navigating menus and trying to upgrade your weapons and getting lost in too much loot is annoying and detracts from solid gameplay - story is completely forgetable - immature jokes are funny at worst, get old really fast - character animations are very stiff and weird - ocassional bugs and crashes and sometimes getting coop to work properly is very annoying Overall 6/10 mediocre but fun for a while. Get it on deep sale
Pleasant surprise. + visuals. Very nice art style + story and narration. Simple story but fits well with norse setting and narration in icelandic (i think) adds so much to the atmosphere + memorable boss fights - combat is ok but could have been way better - your character is so small compared to the bosses you will barely see her during boss fights - last boss is just brutally difficult..never beaten him - too short Overall 7/10 overall really good with some big flaws
Just visually its the most beautiful game i ever played + visuals. Most beautiful artstyle i ever seen. Absolutely gorgeous + soundtrack. Beautiful + story. I'm a grown man and I cried in first five minutes lol + gameplay is fast and fluid. Ori is a joy to control + best checkpoint system ever - ori is so small sometimes its actually hard to see him on the screen (nitpicking) Overall 10/10 most beautiful game I ever played. Masterpiece. Be warned it can be really hard you will die a lot. It would have been my goty 2015 if witcher 3 didnt come out..
+ atmosphere. Its dark and creepy and actually very scary at times + gameplay. Its very simple but it works. You just move left and right and solve puzzles + puzzles. Most of the puzzles are simple but they are entertaining + visuals. Looks weird but nice - story (if you can call it that). Game has great memorable moments but overall story is just weird and confusing...and disguisting at times xD Overall 9/10 its a simple but great game. If it had a little more cohesive story it would be a masterpiece
Bigger doesn't always mean better.. + main character and voice acting (fits Death perfectly) + visuals. It looks cartoony but some of the areas are beautiful (especially first region) + combat and movement. Faster and more fluid than the first game + puzzles are ok - story. Way less interesting than the original (which had a great story and lore) - loot. Big step back. Instead of upgrading your weapons like in original here you have hundreds of pointless varietions of the same weapon - going open world was a mistake imo. World feels lifeless and besides an ocasional puzzle there is nothing to do at all Overall 7/10 its a good game. Nothing special however and inferior to the first game in almost every way (except combat and movement)
Best of the series by far (not a hard thing to achieve lol) and one of the last good bioware games imho + writing, characters and story (although generic fantasy its well told) + very dark and atmospheric + nice mix of tactics and action - visuals. It wasnt best looking when it came out and the visuals aged extremely poorly - world feels empty and lifeless (problem with a lot of bioware games) Overall 8/10 by FAR the best in the franchise..however didnt age very well
