"It was worth every damn second." Storytelling 10/10 Ship battle 10/10 (it was simplistic but you can't have complicated battles in a hentai game, let's be real). Characters 10/10 Graphics 10/10 (yes if you watch too closely 3d meshes gonna look weird but this by far the best hentai production I've experienced). DLC character 10/10, but i didn't care much for aftercredits stuff tbh. There's probably a bunch of things I'm forgetting to mention but, I would totally support Subverse 2.0. I don't even know why I pushed back this game for so long. Probably because of some internet reviews that honestly I regret even paying attention to. I apologise to the subverse team, this was great!

At 11 hours of gameplay, for an alpha, the game is pretty good at accomplishing what is set out to be, a nice sexy parody of an old pokemon favorite. There's plenty of clipping issues in animations and parts of the body going places they are not supposed to go to, which is to be expected. I am not sure if it is because of the lack of tools provided in this version of the game but it's almost impossible to get good grades for pictures. Grass tends to be so way too high and gets way too much in the middle. Monsters move too fast and last too little in a single location in my opinion. Monster variety is fine for the test, most of it is color variations of the same models, no "shiny" variety, no actual differences in the physical model. I am hoping with the addition of the rest of biomas in the future this will increase substantially. I hope it's a complete game when it comes out and not full of DLCs, though for the price I got it, I wouldn't mind paying some more for additional biomas and monsters variations. Wished it had male variations in the final version, just cause female playthrough gets boring with all futas. I have seen gameplays of other people which appear to have even more tools at their disposal, not sure if it is just developers not adding that version in GOG. Fluid dynamics sucks, period. Frames drops like hell. No characters customization in the version I played, bummer... Please add some VR option? :faceholdingbacktears: Wished it also had sex toys plugin in the future as well. I can imagine many possibilities with this type of game, if you know what i mean. Overall, high hopes for this game to continue to be a chill experience. Very worth the money. These developers also have other interesting options out there if you wanna check those out.

The games trully expands upon the main questline themes. Gameplay wise, steps up quite a lot, replayability is expanded in my humble opinion, with many more variations of classes and subclasses. While at first it wasn't something you would expect, coming from the previous title, some of the subclasses restrictions really start to make sense about halfway into the main quests. It additionally, although not so greatly, rewards you exploring and finishing character stories of the first title, with little hints of what happens to those characters and options based on your previous decisions; the greatest of them was by far Beast of Winter DLC for me. Companions development greatly increases in depth compared to previous title, which makes progressing their paths, quite satisfying. The game also adds romance, which personally makes a great addition roleplay wise, though interactions are not expanded upon once you complete romance with one of the companions and there's no harem options >:c Come on! Sidekicks were great as well, some of them provide great insight into DLC content, I'm just sad they weren't as interactable. Many of the main critics received, and I include myself at least for the first few hours of gameplay, was that the game relies too much on the voyages; people didn't take traveling by boat too kind. It does become repetitive halfway through campaign. But is a nice little thing to do when you don't have anything else to focus on, so you just go on a bounty hunting mission! I recommend this game 100%. If you don't mind the voyage system, this game has a lot to offer, even if you didn't play the first title, though, you're missing out on stuff my friend... go play the PoE 1 as well!
