This is a very very good top down RPG with pause and command functionality. Great soundtrack and cool new stuff like high alpha muskets that you can equip in your secondary slot, fire and return to sword and shield. If it had a down side I would say that it would be pretty easy to breeze through the game relying on dire charm alone, if you wanted to.
The two things that judge a good RTS game to me are; 1. The fact that if you put enough time and resources into it you can atleast decently and for the most part create a powerfull defence for your base. 2. Reasonable pacing, this game aint, then again if your an APM hero who can defend a minimum of four bottlenecks, while shift-alt-whatever all your mining sites that have been agro'd or destroyed by the other teams roving blob (literally this game is like one team is the minute hand blob and the other is the hour hand blob) that cant be in two places at once then maybe this games pace is to your liking. I got into Command and Conquer (and Dark Reign 1) back when they were released and not really so much Total Annihilation, (pretty sure I had a lot of fun with brawlers) this game looks like it but with a bucket ton less. Though on the other hand I'm sure there's a bit of fun to be had multiplayer with this game as everyones on the same level (bar the aircraft zerging) but its not for me and its not at all like Command and Conquer. I run an SLI system and I dont personally think this game knows what that is, It performed so badly that I dont think the programmers for this game know what there doing, or maybe something else. Personally I think the biggest units look st#pid too. And my hopes that they will upgrade this game and make it the way everyone likes it remains doubtfull.
