The atmosphere is very mysterious, crafted to be terrifiyng. After the ending I felt a little dissapointed, but this feeling only been around for a little while until I realised how much I wanted to know more about the game's lore. The overall story combines deeply with the gameplay, providing the feeling of actually seeing a concious reaction of environment to your own actions. This gives the feeling of non-linearity in the story, like actually making a difference in the game's world, even though the story itself is constantly linear. Immersion is where this game shines. Backroung sounds, locations, details... The animations are very detailed and non-repetative compared to other games. It makes it very interesting to just observe the characters in the world. Heck, there was even a time I waited for a couple of minutes for a certain animation I saw to loop once again, but it never did! And it's because of these small things playing this game feels like actually being in it's cold and cruel world that is trying to kill you in every possible way. In this particualr aspect, this game is also really similar to "Inside" and "Limbo" by Playdead, while also borrowing some concepts from "Spirited away" (anime) and "Fran Bow". So if you happen to like at least some of these - give this game a try. You will not regret it.
I was waiting this game almost a year and it's giving me a triple "A" story. And the best part is I can be a piece of this amazing adventure. Huge atmospheric story without any redundant "nowadays game's" parts. I love every minute spent in this world. Thanks to NT I do believe now in game industry
