I had never heard of this game before yesterday. I'm not big into the souls-like genre, but given the polish, style, and smooth gameplay, I'm surprised that I had neither heard of nor seen it before. After playing for a few hours, I am even more surprised. It is a quite fun, intuitive, and rewarding game to play. It's possible that it gets repetitive after longer playthroughs, but so far, having bought it for $2 on sale, I'm happy with my purchase.
