Cyberpunk 2077

over hyped

Not very good if you ask me. After the prolouge the game falls apart and throws a million npcs and storylines at you, you have no idea which is the main quest. 2 years later the game still looks and runs like garbage. I can't get above 50 FPS on high or even low settings. Keybinds were setup by a monkey. And the writing was horrible and lazy.

Cossacks 3

Buggy and clunky

Just playing through tutorial and already it's crashing and is skipping steps in the tutorial. Game feels clunky when managing units, they require officers and drummers, but putting them together in a group doesn't always work, you have find the individual officer and tell him to order the troops into formation, but he doesn't always select all of the units you want, requirering multiple attempts. Changes in army composition resets the army making you have to reset the formation multiple times. UI is super small at 1440p, with no option to scale. Game will allow you to accidentally crush your own troops if you're not careful (which is dumb). It's just too cumbersome to play, and thats just in the tutorial, managing hundreds of units is an even more of pain.

Two Worlds II: Epic Edition

God Awful.

I'm not one to judge a game on it's graphics, voice acting, or story, If the game plays fine, I'm happy. But this game plays awfully. it's so buggy, clunky, and not very responsive. You mash the attack button, your character "Might" attack instantly, blocking sometimes works, and the UI loves to skip when scrolling through items. Sitting at my computer playing this game feels like doing chores. Did this game ever recieve any bug fixes at all?!?

X Rebirth

Such a meh space sim...

Played a couple of hours so far and im not liking it. This game from what im told was designed from the ground up to be ported to the Xbox 360, meaning wonky controls and a UI desgined for 720p that CANNOT be altered, so get your reading glasses out. The UI in general is an absolute mess and not intuitive. Also graphical bugs everywhere from textures failing to load to deplorable lighting mechanics. Putting graphics aside, the gameplay is a mess. I thought leaving the captains chair to walk the stations would be fun, but it's not as every station is exactly the same. It got old within 30 min. The game tries to teach you, but it's really only giving you a quick tour without any explanation of what or why you're doing any of it. Trading is dumb as you're required to scan the station first? Why?? I don't see how scanning the station lands me the best price, and it's not even fun. None of it is any fun!!! Also worth noteing, icons and numbers everwhere that give no indication of what it is unless you get close and interact with it until you memorize it all. waste of money and time.

Rebel Galaxy

Elite: Dangerous, minus the complexity

If you ever wanted to play something like E.V.E or Elite: Dangerous, but too turned off by their complexion, you have Rebel Galaxy to turn to. This single player sci-fi space adventure brings together some of the things that made E.V.E and Elite great, such as the life of a trader, smuggler, bounty hunter, mercenary, miner, AND pirate! All of that, albeit in a much more simplified form in a much smaller universe. First off, i need to say this a rather polished looking game, FPS stayed at 60 at max settings 95% of the time on a 7870, with the explosions, ships, characters, and canon fire looking sharp and beautiful. The sound is amazing as well, the voice acting is very convincing, especially the alien languages. The ship sounds and canon fire punch are very satisfying while you're rocking out to some southern rock. As mentioned earlier, a lot of what made up Elite Dangerous and E.V.E can be found in here. Though you'll be hard pressed to find any real depth to the various paths you choose to complete this game with. But that's OK, because Rebel Galaxy feels like it was made for those who can't spend hours with spreadsheets and grinding missions or minerals. Did i mention theirs no need for online connectivity!? The real downsides to this game however, is the 2 dimensional flying and combat mechanics, and the outrageously tedious missions. The Combat is solid, if you ever played Assassins creed 3 or black flag, take that exact ship combat and you get this game! However that took place on the sea, you're in space here, locked on the x axis, taking laser fire and bumping into other ships and asteroids... The amount of grinding here, was a little more than i would have liked for a single player game, after 5 hours of doing the same quests over and over, finally got my first ship upgrade. Very, VERY, little variety in missions, it's always save this trader, retrieve this cargo, kill this person. Bleh. Overall, could be better, but still, $20 well spent,

Divinity: Original Sin Classic

Fantastic Game! not for me :(

this Isometric free form RPG is a must for RPG fans, D&D fans, and any Old schoolers. But why is this game not for me? well to put simply, modern RPGs today have brainwashed me, leading cookie crumb trails to the quest objective, side quests are hidden and scattered through out the area ( no more !Quest here!), and the lack of voice acting, there is ALOT of reading to be had here. If you've been brainwashed by modern RPGs today, i'd say avoid this title, its a tough one. If not however, GET IT!
