I never had the opportunity to play the original game back when it was released and it seemed, like so many other incredible jrpgs of that era, to be lost to time. This is a lovely port that shouldn't be missed if you love traditional turn based japanese role playing games such as Grandia, Final Fantasy and Popolocrois.
If you can forgive the dated graphics and some clunky writing, you will have a wonderful time with this game. The gameplay holds up and is just as fun as ever. An inspired origins system gives the game a substancial amount of replayability. The game also has a mix of romance options that include LGBT options, so whatever your preference, you can find someone to romantically embrace by the campfire.
