if you're looking for a modernized classic point & click puzzle / adventure game, especially as an introduction to the genre, i'd very quickly recommend this remake. honestly, i can only speak as a newbie - i distinctly rememeber seeing my mom play the original along with myst back in the day when i was really young - i was always anamored by the world and artistry of riven in particular, especially its beautiful cd packaging. playing this remake, not only has its world still remained incredible, it's a great experience even if something you just take in as a game you explore a bit each session and take screenshots / notes. it's worth the visit.
