I have been playing this game for many years. Really can't get rid of it. Campaigns and standard scenarios are good, but for me the big thing is the endless new games, which the computer can create for you. You can customize so many things for creating perfectly balanced skirmish games for you. Map size, starting town and hero, how many opponents, is there any allies, toughness of monsters, how much water or none there is in the map, general difficulty level and so on. Game mechanics is quite simple, but so well balanced.
