Game in current state does not run properly in Windows 10 without major tweaking. And then it still won't run properly. Graphics glitches galore. Not surprising as the game was barely playable when released in 1999. Wouldn't recommend unless you want to say you own a legal copy.
As the trailer shows and description says, this game is about moving your vehicle along. That is the long and short of it. There is no story and no rhyme or reason to the game. It is a very relaxing stroll, albeit a very extremely short stroll. I recommend this game if you can get it on sale.
Very linear, below average story and no way to lose. You'll find more excitement and satisfaction farming real life potatoes than playing this game.
An historical adventure game with a great historical backdrop of the roaring 20's and interesting characters based on real life counterparts. You can't go wrong right? Wrong, With so much potential I really was looking forward to playing A Golden Wake. Unfortunately the story never gets interesting and the gameplay isn't any better. It's basically just click the obvious object, then travel from one scene to the other. Your decisions make no bearing on the outcome of anything. It's just a way to progress the story. 2 stars because at least the idea behind the game was a good one.
