Dreams in the Witch House

Lovecraft Point and Click

If you hold any fondness for Point-and-Click games and enjoy Cosmic Horror, this game is fantastic. It's based on the Lovecraft story of the same name, and pulls off the experience beautifully. The graphics are extremely pixellated - part of the charm, but not everybody's cup of tea. If you can get past that, it's fantastic. While it's difficult for POC games to randomize things from one playthrough to the next, the game does add enough that you can't go by memory from a prior playthrough for all of the puzzles, though the fundamental nature of the puzzles is still somewhat static. Time, money, sanity, and health are your main resources, and it can take a bit before you get the hang of managing them. If I have a complaint, it's that the in-game suggestions for how to balance them were vague to nonexistent. The balancing act is really not that bad once you figure things out, but things can be pretty rough on a blind runthrough.
