I actually own this on disc, not the GOG version...but I am thankful a real "diamond in the rough" like this game has made it to GOG. In my opinion, this surpasses any of the Civilization games...it certainly has eaten up more of my hours than all other Sid Meyer games combined. And, if you somehow manage to get bored of the original version, you could always install the expansion pack, Alien Crossfire, to get new technologies, new factions, and new ways to win.
