The game has a few intriguing mechanics which remain interesting now such as: - being able to choose whether to save your progress in dungeons or whether to go through the dungeon again as a fresh experience - characters that age as the game goes on, eventually becoming too old to carry on - choosing how much xp to distribute to your characters
