What this game stands out of the "Caesar" and "Emperor" games is the soundtrack. These games share basically the same mechanics, but the soundtrack is what gets you going and addicted to this particular game because it fits so well to the ambience and the stages of each mission or chapter. You can't play the game without it. Played the game with different languages (english and spanish) and the translation is excellent, at least on the languages I played. Very clear all the dialogs. Gameplay is mostly clean, aside from a few glitches from overlapping objects, however, this won't ruin the experience. Never had any crash with this game (both from original release CD and GOG)
This game is Very Good/Great Game. Through all the gameplay few things bothered me a bit: 1 - Checkpoint reload fixed most glitches except for one or two items missing. 2 - Lara Croft's 3d model. I was expecting something like early 2000's Lara Croft, but then I get an "ok" version to play with. 3 - The action button signal for each boss is distracting -- Missing details on my review due to GOG review content cap -- For the time this game was release, the 3d world, visuals, textures and models are great. The voice acting is very good. The dynamic tone on each situation (at least the ones I did not skipped) is done properly. Is not outstanding but is very good. I really recommend this game. The story is somehow good, but as the game advance, you may loose some interrest in it. That however does not take the action away, it gets better (aside from the signaling during boss fights). Survival mode is great for hunting/killing, not only to find stuff around. And you still have to figure out (without the signal) when you see no way out. Overall, a game as old as this, is very good, it is a solid game and a great game it is. I enjoyed it. 8/10
Starting with a game that is not perfect, with some minimal flaws (like NPCs with "sausage arms") that may be distracting; Some NPCs dialog not sync with audio; Two or three glitches. Basically that's the "bad". Now, the game... well, what can I say. If you like Robocop, specially the first movie, and maybe some of the secondmovie, this game is for you. It is a short game (done on purpose to release DLCs, I guess) but none the less, I really enjoyed all the way to the end. Learning curve is easy if you are not an devoted FPS gamer. Once you work with the skills and the PCBs you won't need any other gun than the Auto 9. That gun will decimate an army, and playing the theme during shootings is like playing DOOM, but on brakes. You walk slow, but once you grab a thug by the neck and throw it like a football to the roof, and still shooting fast., well sorry for the spoiler. You really have to play this one. Highly recomended. Peter Weller reprises RoboCop in RoboCop: Rogue City. Get this game. Developer TEYON, while not being a AAA studio, they pulled this one off, being faithful to source material, to the escense of Peter Weller's RoboCop movies. It really is a very solid 8/10 game. I was sad but satisfied when I finished the game. Thanks TEYON for making a very good game. Solid gameplay. Highly recommended.
Skip all the negative reviews and opinions from other players. This game is on another level. This game is the G.O.A.T. . . . THE G.O.A.T. Forget you need any streaming services. Cancel any streaming service subscription you have. You won't need them. The story, the cut-scenes, the playthrough, the graphics, the characters, the music, the open world, the monsters, the possibilities with the easy to understand level system, etc., etc., this game is AWESOME!!!. It is soooo good and so great that even when it crashed into an error, I was not even mad. Just load the game again, and kept playing it. That's how a games should be made. CDPR, you guys nailed it.
