Tough experience. A little juvenile, but fun. Plays like Virtua Fighter for combos or moves. State change moves are like GoW or The Last Faith: press the prompt button. There is one crowd control for a rumble, and block uses stamina (points that come back, just like life). More of a novel with a game.
Hello, I have had this game before from other places- if you are looking for ONE roguelike that is traditional to the "Berlin Interpretation" (that non-modal thing is funny because it's not essential just noteworthy, like the combat-onlyismery) then this will keep you in amusement for as long as you take to it. Controller recommended because the sessions are LONG. If you desire a hard-hearted roguelike that is an incarnation of the "Berlin Interpretation" then keep playing in 1980~ this will be too cheerful for you. Like more roguelikes, and even roguelites, this is a MANIFESTATION of the Berlin Interpretation of Rogue as understood my the internet-culture of our day. God bless
