The game has a very compelling and fun start, but I wish I had of read how much the rng ramps up in the later game. You can grind out a team over 4-5 hours of gameplay and the game will roll a seemingly unstoppable series of events. In the last session before I deleted the game, it hit 8 crits in a row, killed two party members before I escaped. When I got back to town, the shrieker event stole 8 unique items (which was like 20 hours of gameplay). If youre the type of player who revels in grinding out long hours and doesnt mind the occasional loss of a week or two of gameplay to rng, then this game is for you. Otherwise, it is likely better to avoid it. An aside, the good news was I got the game on a $7 deal and the narrating and scripting of the game is fantastic and that was worth the $7.
