This game brought me back to my childhood sitting in my basement playing video games on my PS2. Its a compelling explore-athon and the ending is as rewarding as you decide it needs to be. If style was a Game this would be it.
I came into cult of the lamb expecting a throwaway game. I dont think it presents too much in terms of changing the formula, but it keeps you perfectly addicted by constantly feeding you more and more of the good feeling juice as you play. I havent blacked out for 12 hours playing a game since I was 16. That is, till Cult of the Lamb. Only complaint would be that combat is mid at best.
