It could be a very good fps but it suffers from repetitiveness and dumb AI. It looks veeery good for its age and it creates a somewhat good atmosphere. Unfortunately it is open-world which means u have to drive from one corner of the map to another corner to do missions... That applies aswell for malaria pills and weapon upgrade missions. Oh, and dont bother with stealth. While being dumb, AI spots u really quick...
Its not a horror shooter game. Its a tactical shooter where enemies tries to intimidate and flank you, and by mistake it has some horror elements in it. Dont bother with Perseus mandate, skip to Extraction Point after u complete main campaign.
One of the most atmospheric games out there. The graphics are decent and it can be improved with mods. Alongside with music & audio it creates very atmospheric sceneries. The gameplay is filled with anomalies, but rest assured, most of them can be fixed with mods (except your skill). And be sure to keep replacements for F5 and F9 keys for your keyboard. They are necessary for your your survival!
... unless you want to complete the series. - the story is ok, enjoyable; same with some secondary quests; - audio and video are kinda dated but still enjoyable. Can be slightly improved with mods and ENB; - the gameplay is ok, except the combat. The combat in this game is bad, like garbage bad. This will be the turn off for many people. ... that lasts even today. The graphics.. well yeah, its a '99 game, but its so detailed! The music, the gameplay, u cannot get enough of it!
You thought Warrior Within had a bad story? now its double worse. The gameplay is somewhat samey, decent audio and music, but graphics are worse.
More more polished than the first one, but worse story. After the 1st game we get a more depressed prince, a dark athmoshpere, lots of blood, cool music and... Dahaka: etaf ruoy epacse tonnac uoy ! Oh shit! time to ruuuun!
Unfortunately nowadays it may be janky and odd if u havent played this before. The controls and the camera are the worst parts. I died many times because they werent synchronized... and the prince decied to jump the worng way.... Time to rewind...
