As fan of the classic games I can't really recommended this game at this stage, it feels very unpolished. The combat system is really lackluster (both the magic ball and melee fighting), the enemy AI is a potato and the friendly AI isn't much smarter. This, plus the amount of bugs I've encountered so far, should have made the game release as "early access". There's still hope for the saga, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't lose a bit of it.
Great game! Tho I'm a bit disappointed that it uses dosbox.
