I have played all three witcher games over the years. Witcher 2 is the hardest of the three to interact with the game universe. Like Witcher 1, it has a linear plot progression. There is very little of the wide open, do what you want freedom of Witcher 3. It does however have a good story line and a lot of action to keep you busy.
